If you'd like to display content from a LinkedIn page owned by a person or brand outside your organization — without inviting them to your contentfry Team — you can do so using the Creator Connection feature. This is ideal for working with external collaborators such as influencers, partners, or sub brands.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to set up a Creator Connection for a LinkedIn page:
Invite Partners to Connect Their Account
To allow your partner to connect their LinkedIn account, you’ll need to provide them with a unique invitation link. This link can be accessed either from the Connections Panel within a Room or from the Team Settings.
From the Connections Panel
In the Room Dashboard, go to the Connections Panel on the left-hand side. Click the LinkedIn icon to open the connection popup.
In the popup window, click the share icon located next to the Connect LinkedIn button. A unique link will appear below the button. Copy the link and share it with the person who manages the LinkedIn page you'd like to connect. 👇
📌 Before sending the link, we recommend defining your terms for external partners and linking them within contentfry. Your partner will be prompted to review and agree to these terms when connecting their profile.
From the Team Settings
In your contentfry Dashboard, go to Team Settings then select External Accounts from the menu bar. Click the LinkedIn button displayed at the top of the page.
A new browser tab will open with a unique Creator Connection URL. Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. Then share this link with the person who manages the LinkedIn page you'd like to connect. 👇

Activate Their Account and Set Up the LinkedIn Page
Once your business partner has connected their account, you’ll receive an email notification from contentfry. After that, you can set up a new LinkedIn Connection using their account directly from your Dashboard.
Go to the Connections Panel in your Dashboard and click the LinkedIn icon to open the Connection popup.
In the popup, select your business partner’s profile, then choose the LinkedIn Page you want to connect from the dropdown menu.
Adjust your moderation settings as needed, then click the Create button to finalize and set up your new LinkedIn Page Connection.

Define Your Terms for External Partners
We recommend creating clear terms for your external partners and linking them within contentfry. When your partner connects their profile, they’ll be prompted to review and agree to these terms. Here’s how to set up your Terms:
Go to Team Settings then select External Accounts from the menu bar.
Scroll down to the Compliance Settings section at the bottom of the page. Paste the URL to your Terms for external partners into the provided field, then click Save to finalize.
The link to your terms will be displayed below the Connect button when your external partners are prompted to connect their account.
