The first step to getting your Social Wall up and running is adding a Connection. In this article, we show you how to add and manage an X (formerly Twitter) Connection.

Connecting an X Account
To get started, click on the X icon located in the Connections panel on the right-hand side of the contentfry Dashboard.
2. Click on the «Connect Twitter/X» button in the pop-up window that opens.
3. Please provide your login credentials for X when prompted to do so. Click the "Authorize app" button to continue.
4. Your authorized social profile is now displayed. To add a different social profile, click on the «New Profile» button. To learn more about Social Profiles, click here.
Adding a User Profile (X Account)
To collect content from a public X account, select "Profile" from the menu bar. Then, enter the username of the X account in the provided field.
2. Decide if you want to include retweets and replies from this account, and whether you want to moderate the collected content before it is displayed publicly on your social wall.
3. Click the "Create" button to finish setting up the new X User Profile connection.
Adding Hashtag Connections
To collect content via Hashtag you need an OAuth 2.0 Bearer Token from X. You can obtain this token by purchasing a paid service from X. The Basic access costs $100 per month and allows you to receive up to 10,000 tweets per month via hashtag from Twitter. (Status April 2024, please view prices directly on the website of X to get up-to-date information on their pricing).

1. If you have a token, click on "Hashtag" in the menu to get started, then on "set up for your team". You will be taken to the Team Settings.
2. You are now in the Team Settings menu under Advanced. To have access to Team Settings, you need to be the owner or admin of your team.
3. Now copy your Bearer Token from the X Developer Portal and paste it into the designated field in contentfry. Give the token a name and then click on "Save".
4. Your newly added Bearer Token is now visible in the list of "Active Bearer Tokens". Now navigate back to your Room where you want to set up the Hashtag Connection.
5. Return to the contentfry Dashboard and again click on the X icon located in the Connections panel.
6. In the popup window, click on 'Hashtag' in the top tabs, then enter the Hashtag you want to connect into the designated field.
