Ready to embed your display on your website or screen? Simply click Share in the top menu to access the sharing settings. In this article, we’ll guide you through the final steps to get your Social Wall up and running.

Don’t worry if the preview in the Share menu doesn’t look perfect—it’s often due to the limited space available in this small preview window.

In a Hurry? Get a Quick Preview and URL with One Click

If you need a quick look at your Social Wall, simply click the Share icon in the top-right menu. This will open a new window where you can preview your wall and copy its URL.

In this section, you can also download a QR code that allows you and your users to access your Social Wall directly on their mobile devices

Configuring Your Social Wall

Think of your created Display as a design template that can be used to build multiple Social Walls. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of configuring, saving, and embedding your Social Walls.

  1. Click on «New Social Wall» in the menu at the top right to start the configuration.

2. A popup window will appear, allowing you to configure your Social Wall. Start by giving your Wall a name. Choose a name that helps you easily identify its purpose or location later, such as "Event Screen Impact Days" or "Landing Page Website."

3. Select the Language for your Social Wall. This will determine the language displayed on elements like the User Post Uploader and the Load More button.

5. To allow direct user uploads, select the User Post Connection you want to use. This option will only be visible if you have already created a User Post Connection in the Connection Panel of your Room's Dashboard.

6. The final option is to activate Content Filters. Content filters allow you to create specific Social Walls, such as using Language Filters to display content in different languages or embedding a Storybox. You can either select an exisitng content filter or proceed to creating a new filter. Once you've made your selections, click Save to apply your Display configurations.

7. Your configurations are now saved, and your Social Wall will appear on the right-hand side of your Sharing Dashboard. To edit, view, or delete your Social Wall, or to download the QR code, click on the More Options (...) menu.

Embedding the Social Wall on your Website

Once you've configured your Social Wall, it’s ready to be embedded on your website. If you'd like to display the Social Wall on a TV screen instead, skip ahead to the section Sharing your Social Wall on a TV Screen.

  1. First, ensure that you have selected the correct Social Wall. A checkmark will indicate the active Social Wall for which you are generating the embed code.

  2. Now, choose how you want your Social Wall to appear on your website. The pre-selected Standard display is the most popular choice, as it seamlessly integrates the Social Wall into your website's content.

  3. Once you've made your selection from the menu on the left, you can simply copy the embed code for your Social Wall by clicking the Get the Code button.

  4. Now, Copy the code from the pop-up window and paste it into your page's HTML at the location where you want your Social Wall to appear.

Sharing your Social Wall on a TV Screen

To display your Social Wall on a TV screen e.g. at an event, you can either copy the URL and open it directly in a browser on the TV, or use the Mirror function to connect your laptop or tablet to the screen.

  1. First, ensure you’ve selected the correct Social Wall, indicated by a checkmark. To get the URL, simply click the Share button. The Social Wall will open in a new window, allowing you to easily copy the URL.

  2. The Mirror function makes it simple to test different Social Wall designs on your screen. Just click the Mirror button and follow the on-screen instructions. If you need additional help, refer to the Displaying Your Social Wall on a TV Screen Using the Mirror Function article.

    3. Tip: You can download the QR code to allow your visitors to easily access your Social Wall on their mobile devices, where they can interact with it—such as liking content or uploading their own posts.

💡And don’t forget to enable full-screen mode in your browser to ensure your Social Wall looks its best!
