Adding a connection is the first step to getting your Social Wall up and running. This article shows you how to add a LinkedIn connection to contentfry.
Contentfry supports the following LinkedIn Connections:
Company Page
Showcase Page (Sub page)
What about Hashtags?
LinkedIn does not allow collecting content from hashtags or other users' profiles.
How to add LinkedIn Connections to contentfry
1. To add a LinkedIn connection, you first need to connect your LinkedIn account to contentfry. Select LinkedIn in the Connections panel on the left-hand side of your dashboard. Then click on Connect with LinkedIn Button in the pop-up window that has opened.
2. You will then be asked to authorize contentfry to access your profile information. Click on Allow to proceed.
3. Your personal LinkedIn profile will now be displayed as a social profile. In the drop-down menu, you will now see all the Company or Showcase Pages for which you have admin rights. Select the Page that you want to connect to. To finish, click on the «Create» button.

4. You have now successfully connected your LinkedIn Page and contentfry will start collecting content. If you have multiple Pages that you would like to connect to contentfry, just click on LinkedIn again in the Connections panel and add your next page.

In order to connect a LinkedIn page, you need to have admin rights to that page. Make sure you have the necessary rights. Then refresh your token (social profile) so that contentfry can receive the current status of your token.
