The 'Report a Post' feature allows your Social Wall visitors to flag content that may be inappropriate or infringe on intellectual property rights. Enabling this feature helps maintain a safe and respectful space for all users. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to activate and manage the 'Report a Post' feature.
1. Step: Allow User Activities for your Room
Allow User Activities For Your Room
To activate the 'Report a Post' feature, you must first allow User Activities for the room.
Begin by clicking on the Settings icon for the room where you're managing your Social Wall. From the dropdown, select Settings.
Once in your Room Settings, navigate to the User Activities section and enable the User Reports option. Be sure to Save your changes before returning to the Dashboard.
Back in your Rooms Dashboard, you'll now notice a new menu bar labeled User Activities in the main panel. This is where you’ll later find and manage the reports.
Now, let's move on to activating the Report a Post icon on your Social Wall.
Activate the "Report a Post" icon on the Display
To allow visitors of your Social Wall to report a post, they must have access to the Report icon that opens the report form. The next step is to make the Report icon visible on your Social Wall.

Start by navigating to the Settings of the Display you’re using for your Social Wall.
Click on Visibility to view your options, then scroll down to the Report and activate the toggle to make the Report icon visible on your Social Wall. Don't forget to publish your changes in your Display!
The report icon will now be visible on all Social Walls that use the Display template you’ve just edited.
View and manage incoming Reports
Once you've activated the reporting functionality on your Display, visitors of your Social Wall will be able to report content using the form that appears when they click on the report icons. You can view and manage the reports submitted by users in the User Reports section of your Room Dashboard.
New reports will appear in your inbox, marked as unread with a blue dot. To review the content being reported, simply click on Show Post.
You can reach out to the user who reported the post using the provided email address. After addressing the issue, you can mark the report as 'resolved' by clicking the Resolve button.
Once marked as resolved, the report will move from your Inbox to the Resolved section. Well done, and thank you for helping to keep your Social Wall a fair and respectful place!
